At #UCLA Monday, two independent journalists identified by their press badges were arrested by campus police along with several legal observers, in a significant departure from established press rights. 2/
@ACatWithNews & @FilmThePoliceLA have been reporting crucial information regarding the OTG pro-Palestinian protests at #UCLA and were most likely targeted when police detained them on bogus charges. We predict significant lawsuits in the near future. /3
Meanwhile at USC, Sean Feucht led a march in support of Israel. The assembly was notably populated with recognized LA extremists, high-ranking #NAR members, in a staged alliance between RW Christian forces and the Jewish community. A detailed analysis is in order. /4

Also spotted in the crowd at #USC was this woman holding a Concerned Woman of America sign. CWA is a CNP org lead by Penny Nance and CWA was founded by Beverly LaHaye, wife of conservative activist Tim LaHaye, in 1979. /9
The Southern Poverty Law Center identified CWA as one of the most influential anti-gay groups in the United States, and they also focus on “7 core issues” similar to 7M #NAR doctrine. /10
The Stand for Israel march was primarily a display of NAR Christians and CNP groups aimed at countering pro-Palestinian protests at universities. With 300 estimated attendees, it’s clear a small percentage were there spontaneously and not in affiliation with one of the orgs./11
