Weekly Update 9/1/24-The one where the Conejo Valley crazy makes a comeback and the Huntington Beach Fash Four set the scene.

🚨Weekly👉🏼SoCal 👈🏼Update🚨

From Ventura Co. to Huntington Beach, RW extremists are knitting themselves into local politics. Facing a democracy roadblock? They switch gears to dis-info, diversions, and Nazi-style oppressive tactics. Buckle up, Ventura County is upfirst…1/16

Failed Conejo Valley School Board candidate Joelle Mancuso has teamed up with Moms For America, desperate for legitimacy. Rejected by her own community, she’s now pushing something even more hateful—a Huntington Beach city ordinance targeting ALL LGBTQ+ students. 2/16

This new ordinance directly attacks Ca’s AB-1955, a law that protects trans students from mandatory outing. But it doesn’t stop there—it goes beyond: targeting gay, lesbian and bisexual students.
This effort aims to round up all LGBTQ+ minors for marginalization. 3/16

Joelle Mancuso and Moms for America wants bigots to bring this to their city councils in an attempt to make the city enforce what equals a large target on the backs of LGBTQ+ youth, a systemic process of persecution.
Sound familiar? 4/16

Joelle Mancuso and Huntington Beach aren’t just after trans kids—they’re after all queer kids. And why? To distract from scandals involving misappropriated funds and insider deals. 5/16

The Conejo Valley was able to shake Joelle Mancuso, unfortunately now her “mini-me” is running. Meet Nancy Van Volkinburg, Area 1 “parental rights” school board candidate w/a history of supporting school voucher scams. She’s endorsed by the far-right Cal Policy Center. 6/16

And yes, Nancy Van Volkinburg is against showing solidarity with her fellow LGBTQ+ community members and possible future constituents. 7/16

Nancy Van Volkinburg’s club was involved in a school voucher scam back in 2022 financed by Dale Broome from Redlands, the Educational Freedom Act. 8/16

The Redlands-Conejo Valley connection remains strong, with Broome behind the scenes. The 2024 Conejo Valley candidates, linked to groups eager to redirect funds from public to parochial schools, now find a new tool in their arsenal: the #CEOact. 9/16

The CEO Act, the next school voucher scam, is led by Kevin McNamee, a Thousand Oaks City Council member. McNamee has pulled from an embarrassing array of locals to drain public school funds. #ProtectPublicSchools. 10/16

The CEO Act is also tied to the California Policy Center through its VP Lance Christensen. Visit here to learn more about the #CEOact and the players behind it. 11/16

Kevin McNamee is also in cahoots with CVUSD School Board candidate area 1 Frank Enderle, who lists him as a collaborator on his website. Do we really want anti-public education insiders making deals with our school board? #KeepThemOut 12/16

Frank Enderle is catching slack for making rape jokes, referring to Michelle Obama as a man, and silencing constituents by deleting comments and blocking them on Facebook. Is this school board material? 13/16

Catch up on Conejo Valley’s history to better grasp the recurring political extremism shaping up this election season in Ventura County. 14/16
