Ex-Gays Against Groomers chapter leader Frank Rodriguez is well known for attending protests, school board meetings, and rallies fighting to suppress voices and policies that involve the LGBTQ+ community. . Although he is childless, Rodriguez takes a special interest in public education agenda matters, labeling LGBTQ inclusive policy as “grooming”, accusing anyone supporting the inclusion of the LGBTQ community as being “pedophiles” and threatening actual parents and students of the districts he visits.

Visiting the Conejo Valley in 2022, Rodriguez came to speak on behalf of Gays Against Groomers and Steven Schneider, a father in the Conejo Valley School District who started an anti-LGBTQ movement in his own community. Rodriguez repeatedly claimed to have nieces and nephews in the district, which is a common claim he makes at every school district he visits.

In a 2022 visit to the Redlands Unified School District, he arrived alongside LEXIT, Proudboys, and Mom Army members. In reports of inappropriate behavior from Rodriguez, he was observed making a concerning comment to a Redlands USD parent who was there to support the LGBTQ community. Specifically, Rodriguez went as far as to indicate that he knew where the parent lived. Such a comment can be seen as threatening, especially in the context of the conversation that took place. The LGBTQ community, along with all other communities, should feel accepted and celebrated, not intimidated or discriminated against.

“As Rodriguez was leaving this particular meeting, you could hear him promising his return to Redlands with “parades,” even going as far as threatening his own Redlands mayoral candidacy. it’s not uncommon to hear this kinda talk from him, he is well known spotlight seeker. In his earliest videos, Rodriguiez is a self proclaimed “content creater“, and declares this is what his passion is. This is him before he started his own Gays Against Groomers chapter here in SoCal.

Rodriguez has attended California Policy Center events aimed at manipulating school board politics and has turned his attention to the Orange Unified School Board. Recently, he was under investigation for trying to sabotage the OUSD recall movement with J6er and PYLSD board member Leandra Blades.

According to an article in the Daily Kos-“Members of the Orange Unified Recall filed a felony criminal complaint against Frank Rodriguez and Leandra Blades for conspiring to direct a minor (the child of Leandra Blades) to commit fraud by knowingly and intentionally signing a fake name and address on a recall petition. This occurred at the Orange International Street Fair when Blades’ son approached the OUSD Recall booth and falsely claimed to be an OUSD voter and asked to sign the petitions. Recall volunteers noticed that the signer immediately went to stand and begin filming with Rodriguez and Blades. After being removed by the police for harassment, Blades and her son immediately requested that the name he signed be removed, which it was. It appears that this conspiracy to commit a felony was a misguided attempt at a “gotcha” moment, which is Rodriguez’s stock in trade.”

A great example of Rodriguez’ “gotcha” moment manipulation can be seen in this video where he deviously edits in a fake “BOOOO” sound. This sound is strategically placed just before he singles out and accuses OUSD teacher union representative, Greg Goodlander, of being a “groomer”. It is worth noting that eyewitnesses who were present have thoroughly corroborated that the “BOOOO” sound was added by Rodriguez.

Interestingly, Rodriguez has established a close relationship with far-right extremist OUSD trustee Madison Miner, who he apparently serves as a personal content creator. As the journey of Rodriguez’s self-promotion progresses, there will be plenty of further developments reported on, particularly with regards to his involvement in anti-LGBTQ+ controversies within public education.
